Getting Started
See all articlesUnderstanding CEUs and How You Earn Them
A Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is a nationally recognized measure of participation in professional development and continuing education programs. CEUs demonstrate your commitment to lifelong learning and can support professional advancement or serve as proof of skill development in your field.
In the early care and education (ECE) industry, CEUs are often required to renew a Child Development Associate® (CDA) Credential. The CEU measurement is simple: one hour of completed coursework equals 0.1 CEU. In other words, you can divide the total number of course clock hours by 10 to determine how many CEUs you’ll earn.
ProSolutions Training is proud to be an accredited Authorized Provider of continuing education and training through the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). This accreditation ensures our courses meet the highest standards for quality and relevance—and there’s no additional cost for earning CEUs.
When you complete eligible courses through ProSolutions Training, you’re not only enhancing your professional skills but also earning valuable CEU credit toward your ongoing growth and certification requirements.

Certificates & Transcripts
See all articlesHow Long Will My Certificates and Transcripts Remain Available?
Your ProSolutions Training account provides easy access to all your training records, including certificates and transcripts.
Certificates and transcripts remain available for at least five years following course completion, allowing you to conveniently view, download, or print your records whenever needed.
To access your documents, simply log in to your account and navigate to the transcript tab to review your completed courses and certificates.
How can I access my certificates & transcripts?
Your certificates and transcript can be easily accessed at any time through your ProSolutions Training account. Both serve as official records of your completed coursework and professional development achievements.
To view or print your documents, simply log into your account and click the “Transcript” tab located on the top blue bar. From there, you can generate your transcript and view, print, or save both your certificates and transcript for your records.
If a completed course does not appear in your transcript, double-check that you have finished the post-course evaluation. This step is required before a certificate is issued. Once completed, your certificate will automatically appear in your account and can be accessed anytime through the Transcript tab.
What is the difference between a transcript and a certificate?
When completing courses through ProSolutions Training, you’ll receive documentation that reflects your accomplishments and ongoing professional development. Two key records provided are certificates and transcripts, each serving a unique purpose in recognizing your training achievements.
A certificate serves as official verification that you have completed a specific course or training package. Each certificate highlights the course title, completion date, and continuing education credit earned.
A transcript, on the other hand, provides a broader record of your professional development. It lists all completed courses or training packages, organized by the year in which they were finished. Transcripts offer an easy way to track your overall progress and document your continued dedication to professional growth in the early childhood education field.
What is a CEU?
CEU stands for Continuing Education Unit. CEUs are nationally recognized units earned for participation in qualifying continuing education programs and may be used for professional advancement or as evidence of increased abilities in a particular field. In the early care and education field, CEUs are required to renew a CDA.
The CEU measurement is: 1 hour of course completion = 0.1 (or one tenth) of a CEU. Or, you can divide the course clock-hours by 10 to determine the applicable number of CEUs for a class. ProSolutions Training is an accredited authorized provider of continuing education and training units (CEUs) through the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). CEUs are awarded at no additional cost for all eligible courses.
Will I earn CEUs through ProSolutions Training?
Yes! ProSolutions Training is an accredited Authorized Provider of continuing education and training through the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). This means that all eligible courses you complete can earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) at no additional cost.
Because ProSolutions Training offers both state approvals and CEUs, we are required to have learners complete a course evaluation at the end of each class. This evaluation not only fulfills accreditation requirements but also helps our team identify areas for improvement and ensure the highest quality learning experience.
Please note that your course certificate will become available only after the evaluation is completed. Be sure to answer all questions in the evaluation to successfully submit it and receive credit for your training.

Why am I seeing this message?
If you see the message “Sorry, your test has expired and won’t be scored. You can log back in to restart the test,” your session timed out due to inactivity.
What causes this?
Tests open in a separate browser window while the ProSolutions Training website continues running in the background.
For security reasons, the system automatically logs users out after one hour of inactivity.
If a test takes longer than one hour to complete, the session may expire.
How can I avoid this?
Plan to complete your test within one hour.
Avoid leaving the test window inactive or open without interaction.
What should I do if my test expires?
Log back in to your account and restart the test, ensuring you can complete it within the one-hour time limit.
How many courses can be completed in day?
In alignment with best practices for adult learning and state registry requirements, students may complete up to eight hours of training in a single day. This limit helps ensure that learners have adequate time to absorb and retain course material.
Once you’ve reached the daily maximum, you may continue viewing additional course content; however, access to post-tests will be temporarily restricted. Testing will become available again on the next calendar day, allowing you to resume your training at a healthy, productive pace.
Course Navigation - Resource Materials
Many of our courses include helpful resource materials designed to enhance your learning experience. These free resources support and reinforce the course content, offering practical tools and information you can use in your classroom or professional setting.
To access these materials, simply click on “Resources” at the bottom of any course slide. From there, you can view the available documents directly on your screen or download them to your computer for future reference. These resources are a great way
Course Navigation - Learning Applications
Some ProSolutions Training courses include interactive Learning Applications to help reinforce key concepts as you learn. These activities are a required part of the course and must be completed before moving forward.
The interactive Learning Applications will appear as multiple-choice questions throughout the course. To participate, simply click on your selected answer to see if it’s correct. If you choose the right response, you can continue to the next screen using the right arrow at the bottom of the page. If your first answer isn’t correct, don’t worry, just try again until you find the right one.
You won’t be able to move forward until the correct answer is selected, but there’s no time limit, and these questions aren’t graded. If you get stuck, you can revisit earlier sections by clicking the left arrow to review the material, then return to the question screen to continue your progress.
How do I complete a course?
Each ProSolutions Training class is designed to be clear, engaging, and easy to follow. Every course includes three key components to guide your learning:
Pre-Test: Begin with a short, ungraded pre-test to assess your current knowledge of the topic.
Course Presentation: Read through the course content at your own pace. You can pause and return at any time.
Post-Test and Evaluation: Once you’ve completed the presentation, take the post-test to demonstrate what you’ve learned, then complete the brief course evaluation.
After completing the post-test and evaluation, you’ll instantly receive a personalized certificate showing that you completed one or two hours of state-approved training and earned 0.1 or 0.2 CEUs. It’s that simple!
Note:
If you do not achieve a score of 80% or higher on your first two post-test attempts, you’ll have two more chances to pass at no additional cost. After four unsuccessful attempts, you’ll need to repurchase the course to try again.
What if I don't pass my course test?
If a satisfactory score of 80% or higher is not achieved on the first post-test attempt, you are allowed one additional opportunity to retake the test at no extra cost.
If both attempts result in a failing score, you will need to retake the course content to unlock two more post-test attempts. Should you not pass after four total attempts, your course will automatically reset within 48 hours, allowing you to begin again.

Registry
See all articlesWhy Your ProSolutions Training Courses May Not Appear in the Registry
If you have completed a course with ProSolutions Training but do not see your completion information in your state registry account, please check the following:
Registry ID: Ensure your Registry ID is entered in your ProSolutions Training account. This ID is required to verify course completion.
Opt-Out Setting: Confirm that the Opt-Out option in your ProSolutions Training profile is not selected. If you add your Registry ID later, course completion data will begin transmitting from that point forward.

Work State: Ensure the work state listed in your ProSolutions Training account matches the state registry.
Certificate Submission: Some states require individuals to submit training certificates for verification. ProSolutions Training automatically sends course completions to the following states: Arkansas, California, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Washington, and Wisconsin.
Most course completions should appear in your registry account by the Monday following the course completion date.
Note: It is always best to check with your State Licensing Agency to determine which training satisfies their requirements.
How do I find my Registry ID or opt out of giving you my registry ID?
Many states maintain a professional development registry that tracks your annual training hours. If you have an account with your state’s registry, your Registry ID serves as your unique identifier and can be found by logging into your registry account.
You can add this number to your ProSolutions Training profile to ensure your course completion data is automatically reported to the registry. If you prefer not to share your Registry ID, simply select the Opt Out checkbox in your profile; however, this means your course completion data will not be sent to the registry. Should you choose to add your Registry ID later, ProSolutions Training will begin reporting your course completions from that point forward.
