    ProSolutions Training offers a variety of resources throughout the CDA curriculum to guide you in developing your Professional Portfolio. These resources are designed to help you understand the portfolio requirements and organize your materials effectively.

    For specific questions about content or work quality, please contact a Professional Development (PD) Specialist. You can locate a PD Specialist using the tools available on the Council for Professional Recognition’s website. To access these tools, you will first need to create or log in to your YourCouncil account.

  • Do My Current Trainings Count Toward the CDA 120-Hour Requirement?

    If you have previously completed courses with ProSolutions Training that are also included in our 120-hour CDA Training package, you will automatically receive credit for those courses; you will not need to retake them.

    If you completed training outside of ProSolutions Training, please contact the Council for Professional Recognition directly to confirm which courses may be accepted toward your CDA requirements. You can reach the Council at 1-800-424-4310 or visit their website at www.cdacouncil.org

  • CDA Renewal

    ProSolutions Training offers CDA Renewal training in three settings: Preschool, Infant/Toddler, and Family Child Care.

    The cost of the CDA Renewal training is $129. Please note that this fee does not include the $250 electronic application fee required by the Council for Professional Recognition.

    Completing your renewal through ProSolutions Training ensures you maintain your Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and continue meeting the professional standards set by the Council.

  • CDA Training Fees and Associated Costs

    The ProSolutions Training Child Development Associate (CDA) training program is priced at $399. Discounts are available for subscription holders and bulk purchases. Please note that this fee does not include the CDA Competency Standards Book, which must be purchased directly from the Council for Professional Recognition, or the $525 electronic application fee required by the Council.

  • CDA Eligibility Requirements

    To apply for the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, applicants must meet the following requirements:

    • Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or GED, or current enrollment in a high school career or technical education program.

    • Experience: At least 480 hours of experience working with children within three years before beginning your application.

    • Training: Completion of 120 hours of formal training in eight subject areas, all of which are covered in ProSolutions Training’s online CDA coursework.
